In the heart of the famous Art Triangle, formed by the Prado, Thyssen Bornemisza, and Reina Sofía museums, a few minutes from the Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor.
It is a good place to stay for cultural visits to Madrid, a few metres from Calle Huertas and the Plaza de Santa Ana, with its excellent night time atmosphere with its tapas bars and restaurants, without forgetting the peace and quiet of the street Lope de Vega.
From any of the ring roads around Madrid or the national motorways, go in the direction of the city centre towards Paseo de la Castellana and the Paseo del Prado.
When you are on the Paseo de la Castellana, (if you are coming from the north) or the Paseo del Prado (if you are coming from the south, east or west) find the roundabout called Canovas del Castillo, commonly known as Neptuno. From here, still on the Paseo del Prado and going in the direction of Atocha, Glorieta de Carlos V, take the second street on the right after Neptuno which is calle Lope de Vega, a few metres around the corner of the Paseo del Prado, we will find Hotel Lope de Vega (HCT) ****.
By metro from Barajas airport in the direction of the centre, get off at Sevilla (line 2- red) or Antón Martín (line 1 – light blue) and from either of them it is a 3-5 minute walk to Hotel Lope de Vega.
By train, the nearest long distance and AVE station as well as regional trains is Atocha Renfe.
A taxi from the airport takes approximately 15-20 minutes with a cost of €20-25.
